Shout Box Rules

Here on Naruto Nightmare, we have the pleasure of giving you a Chat Box to speak with each other. Please don't make us regret it because we like having it too, but we all know if people decide they are going to cause issues in the Chat Box there will be punishments placed upon them. If staff find that there are too many conflicts happening in the Chat Box, we will not hesitate to remove it. Besides being a place to talk when awaiting a post, or for you to ask a question; the Chat Box is a quick way to communicate with staff. If you ask a question that no-one seems to be able to answer, post a topic in the appropriate support section for assistance from staff.

1.) Do not flame, bait, troll, attack, belittle, etc., Even in the confines of the internet, it is our hope that people remain respectful for one another; respecting one another's rights and wishes. A 1 hour ban will be issued to all those found to be flaming, baiting, trolling or just any form of direct malignant attack. This is for those people to cool off, if they continue doing so after that 1 hour they get sanctioned further.

2.) No pornography on the site. Not everyone on this site is the spotty greasy teenager who's hormones are going through the roof, some of us may not wish to view pornography, some of us may have no need to view it. Don't post it in the Shout Box. Don't ask about it in the Shout Box. The breaking of this rule may result in a 1 hour ban.

3.) No flooding the forum. We all wish to keep the bottom floors of our Shout Box Homes nice and dry thank you very much. The shoutbox has an excellent flooding insurance; the Staff Members. Don't spam the Shout Box with useless information or with advertisement and other material we do not allow within Naruto Nightmare

4.)Formatting Formatting isn't against the rules by all means, just make sure you don't do it too often, some formats make it hard to read what your saying etc. This is more a guideline than a general hardcore rule.

5.)Topics that are not discussed There are a few topics I don't want discussed in the C-Box because they can cause too much conflict. They are as follows

* War
* Offensive Politics
* Terrorism
* Instigate discussion about members' real life
* Racism or Sexist remarks



How do we Operate the Shout Box

The shout box is disciplined as follows.

If you break a rule you are issued with a verbal warning upon breaking said rule, we accept the excuse you didn't hit refresh but that grace period lasts for only one minute after that you will be deemed lying and then we move on to issue you with a ban. A verbal warning lasts until 12:00AM or Midnight, that is midnight by Shoutbox time; Not your own. This means if you get a warning at 12:00 Shout Box time you have to wait a full 24 hours before its gone.

The second step is what I like to refer to as the tranquilizer dart. This is essentially a 1 hour cool-down, when you get shot with it you have an hour to reflect upon what you say and if you choose to continue your actions then you shall be given another dart only this one is referred to as the Coma Dart; Why? because its longer. If you so choose to drop the issue then that is the end of the matter.

The Third Step is what Staff likes to call the Coma Dart, The Coma Dart is a week long ban. This lasts 7 days from the initialization of the ban and you get this if you insist on breaking the rules. Once you come back from your seven day ban, if you break the rules within the next three days you have another week ban and if it persists we are forced to give you The Lethal Injection

The Final Step, The lethal injection is basically your permanent ban, your existence wiped from the Shout Box for all eternity unless you can justify to the head staff that it was an unjust banning. That is to say if a staffer gets too big for their boots, or decides to abuse their power; then we have the capability to over turn this. That being said we can also overturn it for what ever reason we so choose.

So we hope you enjoy the shoutbox and adhere to the rules. Or I'm afraid staff will have to be a bunch of monsters on the subject and devour all offenders.
